Cara Murphy is a silversmith from Northern Ireland, and I found her work really interesting because she creates things that are unique and beautiful but also very useful. This piece in particular interested me very much. It is a salt and pepper shaker piece, and each seed pod can be removed and used, and then put back in a different place. This means the piece is always moving and evolving with the people who use it. I find it a very interesting concept; that a piece of art can change over time and almost a living installation.
